The existence of stalls and restaurants don&rsquo;t repress Indonesians&rsquo; desire to serve their meals. Based on the survey, only 15% (75 respondents) don&rsquo;t cook. Meanwhile, 29.2% (146 respondents) cook by themselves every time they need to eat and a slightly different number&mdash;which is 28% (140 respondents)&mdash;cook 1-2 times a day.

<h2>Why is cooking more satisfying than buying foods from restaurants?</h2>

Cheaper

Cooking at home is relatively cheaper than buying food at the restaurants. People who cook at home every day can plan the menu for a whole week or even month. They can manage the money they spend to buy the ingredients, which is relatively cheaper than the money they would pay if they purchase meals at restaurants every day.

Fun

Many people agree that cooking is fun! Cooking is a lot more than an obligation. Cooking can be a hobby and a medium to express feelings as well as to conduct experiments.

Healthier

Cooking by ourselves means that we can choose our ingredients, and thus we can make sure of the hygiene as well as calculate the nutrition of the foods that we make.
